Step 8: Cold Outreach & Pitching

Once you have a targeted prospect list, you must reach out. Good outreach is short, acknowledges the client’s current setup, offers a specific improvement, and makes replying effortless. In this step, you draft your pitch templates.

  • Understand the anatomy of a high-converting cold pitch.
  • Draft personalized pitch templates using AI companion copy-writing.
  • Prepare your outreach schedule.

Your outreach message should have 4 simple parts:

  1. Personalized Hook: Mention their business name and something positive about their work.
  2. The Gaps Observation: Politely note the technical bottleneck you observed. E.g., “I noticed booking a session currently redirects to an email draft…”
  3. The Solution Offer: Briefly describe how you can fix it. E.g., “I automate this by building simple inline booking widgets…”
  4. No-Pressure Call to Action (CTA): Keep it low friction. Do not ask for a sale; ask for a quick chat. E.g., “Do you have 10 minutes next Tuesday for a quick chat? If not, no worries.”

Write 2 outreach templates tailored to your 5 target leads. One should be a short LinkedIn/Instagram message (under 100 words), and the other an email template (under 150 words).

Example Prompt to refine your pitch:

Context: I am pitching a custom React scheduler to a veterinary clinic named Acme Vets.
Their current website requires people to call during office hours to schedule visits.
Task: Write a personalized 120-word email pitch. Focus on how a booking system saves their admin time and secures after-hours bookings. Keep the tone helpful, professional, and completely non-pushy.

Save these drafts. You will use them to launch your outreach campaign.
